PayIt Appoints Tom Nieto as President and Chief Operating Officer
Tom joins the PayIt leadership team with deep expertise in government technology
Kansas City, Missouri, November 16, 2023 – PayIt, the leader in digital customer experience solutions with integrated payments for state, local, and provincial governments, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Nieto as President. Tom brings nearly 15 years of leadership experience across government technology to the role, where he will focus on driving strategy, scaling its operations, and building out capabilities to continue to drive growth for the company.

Tom was most recently COO at Accela, and prior to that, held leadership positions at companies including Box and Boston Consulting Group. Tom holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.

PayIt co-founder Mike Plunkett has been appointed Chief Development Officer. In his new role, he will focus on client relationships, corporate development, and coaching leaders within the company. Mike most recently served as PayIt’s COO.
