Olive Branch adds court services to digital payment platform myOliveBranch

In partnership with PayIt, Olive Branch, Mississippi, has added new functionality that enables users to pay for court services and traffic citations through their city-wide online portal myOliveBranch. This comes on the heels of a July 2021 launch that allowed residents to digitally manage and pay utility bills, along with enroll in automatic payments, create a single profile to store payment information and create payment reminders and notifications.

The ease of use and simple transactions provided by a digital platform have been in demand by the city’s nearly 40,000 residents, according to Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams.

Government employees in Olive Branch are also seeing positive gains. As more citizens utilize the myOliveBranch app to complete transactions, government agencies have noted employees having more time to dedicate to other tasks as they process fewer in-person payments from residents visiting their offices. Such streamlined efficiency has been a result of PayIt tools used in other cities, as well, also resulting in lower delinquency rates and fewer payment errors for residents.
