Kansas’ iKan, Powered by PayIt, Is An Honoree In Fast Company’s 2019 Awards

iKan joins 483 honored projects, products, and services from Nike, Microsoft, Mastercard, Gensler, and others.

Kansas City, Missouri – September 10, 2019. The State of Kansas’ iKan, powered by PayIt, was honored in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards for 2019 in the Apps & Games category.

Fast Company’s Innovation by Design is the only competition to honor creative work at the intersection of design, business, and innovation. This year’s applicant pool was the most competitive, with more than 4,300 entries.

Developed in partnership with the State of Kansas, iKan has been designed to allow its citizens to engage with multiple services in a centralized, omni-channel solution accompanied with a conversational, personalized experience. Specifically, users are enabled to easily:

• Pay vehicle registration renewals
• Renew their driver’s license (the country’s first-ever mobile driver’s license renewal service)
• Order vital records (birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates)
