PayIt Partners with the Rockland County Clerk’s Office to Modernize and Expand Digital Services

Kansas City, Missouri, April 7, 2026PayIt, the leader in digital customer experience solutions for state and local governments, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Rockland County Clerk’s Office to improve how residents access and pay for county services. This multi-year agreement delivers PayIt’s cloud-based platform to Rockland County, New York, providing a modern digital experience that prioritizes security, convenience, and accessibility.

The new PayIt platform will allow residents to complete Clerk Office filings, access records, and submit payments from any device, reducing paperwork, simplifying or eliminating office visits, and improving overall access. Beyond an improved user interface and experience, PayIt will also deliver a significant reduction in resident transaction fees compared to the previous system. 

The new system, built with PayIt’s configurable platform, meets compliance and regulatory standards to deliver the highest level of protection to the Clerk’s Office and the customers they serve. Previously, Rockland County relied on a single credit card payment option using a magnetic stripe reader, which required staff to physically take a customer’s card, swipe it, and manually enter the information. The new platform simplifies the payments process, improving the experience for residents and streamlining staff operations.

The multi-year partnership will enable PayIt and Rockland County to continue to modernize, expand features, and enhance services based on resident needs, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
