PayIt founder and CEO named as a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year award

PayIt has been honored with many awards, both as a company and on behalf of our government clients. Each nomination makes us even more proud of the work we’ve accomplished. From humble beginnings to our continued record of growth and innovation, these accolades and our success are the result of one thing — people.

We serve people. Our clients are the people in government that have chosen digital innovation to improve the lives of their citizens. Our end users are the people that benefit from our cloud-based, digital government platform. And of course, this is powered by the talented people at PayIt.

The PayIt team is proud to announce that our founder and CEO John Thomson has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 Heartland Award. Now in its 34th year, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program honors entrepreneurial business leaders whose ambitions deliver innovation, growth and prosperity as they build and sustain successful businesses that transform our world.

John is as humble as our beginnings and really lives by the “it takes a village” motto when it comes to the success of PayIt.

“Individual honors are the result of the entire team working to deliver for our clients and the constituents we serve, together. I’m proud to be honored as a finalist on behalf of the talented, caring and passionate group of innovators at PayIt, as well as the clients that partner with us.”
